4th of July Ubuntu Linux Theme is dedicated to the US Independence Day which falls on 4th of July every year. Tomorrow is the 4th of July and so we thought of releasing this theme today for all the visitors to our website from the US. 4th of July is celebrated commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. The event is normally associated with parades, fireworks, carnivals, ceremonies and various ways to showcase the patriotism for every federal citizen. This theme should work on Ubuntu and all Linux distributions which support gnome backgrounds. This Ubuntu Theme contains 10 high resolution backgrounds related to the US Independence Day. Each background would remain for 15 minutes after which it will change to the next background and so on. All the backgrounds are of 1920 x 1200 pixels and will fit very well into laptop and desktop computers of nearly all sizes. We would like to wish all the US visitors to our website a Happy Independence Day and hope you enjoy this theme during the holiday tomorrow. 🙂
